Collect from Dead Drop on Lyons II - Contract 4B9-5A2

Lyran Alliance assets have hinted that they collected some good intelligence, but they have gone silent since then. Take an armed escort in force to their last Dead Drop location and see if there is anything clue of what's going on.

Special Rules

One of the Contractor's units can spend a Combat Action to Retrieve in the Intelligence Package while they are adjacent to the Dead Drop. The Intelligence Package is invulnerable and of no significant mass.

Primary Objective:

Get the Intelligence Package off the edge that you walked in on. If you complete this objective, gain 1 reputation with the Lyran Alliance.

Secondary Objectives:

Neutralize Resistance I: Wreck or Force to Withdraw 25% of enemy units (by PV): 150 WP

Collect Evidence: Salvage 1 enemy unit: 100 WP

Seize the Moment II: Complete the primary objective in 5 turns: 250 WP

Restrictions: Landmines may not be placed within 8in of the Dead Drop.

OpFor Objectives:

The Lyran Alliance has walked into our trap; Lyons Thumb agents caught their spies and now we can reel in the bigger fish. Wreck or Force to withdraw 50% of the Contractor's forces (by PV).

150-300 PV: Untracked Forces will bring at least 1 Recon Lance and a total force size of 150 PV.
301-450 PV: Untracked Forces will bring at least 1 Recon Lance and a total force size of 225 PV.
451-600 PV: Untracked Forces will bring at least 2 Recon Lances and a total force size of 300 PV.

Terrain Features: There are no clearings within 6in of the center of the map. A river flows from the middle of one edge to the middle of an adjacent edge.

Darkness: This planet has a full Day/Night cycle, so the contracting player may decide to attack at night if they wish (see rules on PDF page 62).

Electromagnetic Interference: No EMI expected.

Gravity: The gravity is close enough to 1.0 g that there is no noticeable difference.

Temperature: The temperature does not reach into extreme ranges.

Wind: No adverse weather expected.

Structural Survey: There are no structures on this map.

Deployment Instructions

Place the Dead Drop Objective marker in the middle of the table. The Contractor picks one edge to walk in from. The OpFor walks in on the other edge. They must walk in at least 50% (by PV) of their force on the first turn. Anything that does not walk in on the may walk in from either of the two other edges that no one walked in, but may not do so until the turn after the Contractor Retrieves the Intelligence Package.
