Deliver Fuel to Hunting Lodge on Deneb Algedi II - Contract F8A-56C

East Sector, Deneb Algedi System, Deneb Algedi II.

A House Kurita hunting lodge has run out of fuel and our regular fuel delivery contractors have failed to honor their word. The defensive net that keeps the wildlife at bay is unpowered, and the family members staying there are trapped inside. Deliver this container of fuel to the lodge.

Special Rules

The Fuel Container is a Size 3 object with 4 structure points. It begins the game loaded as external cargo on one of the Contractor's units. A unit carrying the Fuel Container can load the Fuel into the Lodge by spending a Combat Action to do so while adjacent to the Lodge. The are ten Herds of Predators around the Lodge at the start of the game. These are represented by objective markers. They have Size 4, TMM 2, and Move 10, and 4 Str. If damaged, they only take a maximum of one point of damage per hit (except AoE weapons, which deal damage normally). When a Herd takes damage, reduce its Size by 1. Herds cannot damage units other than Infantry, and then only with Physical Attacks. While the Herds cannot hurt non-infantry units, they can slow them down. If a unit wishes to move into or through a Herd, they move at half speed while doing so. Units may stop among Herds. Herd may move through units and/or end their turn surrounding a unit. A unit that begins the movement phase surrounded by a Herd moves at half speed during that movement phase. Units that make use of VTOL, Jumping or other airborne movement ignore this. A unit that begins its combat phase surrounded by a Herd gets +1 to its Target Number to hit other things, and other units get +1 to their target number to hit the surrounded unit. Airborne units cannot be surrounded. Herds move during the End Phase, under the control of the OpFor player. If a Herd was shot at, regardless of whether or not the shot hit, the Herd must move in such a way that it uses its move full distance to get as far as possible away from the unit that shot at it most recently. Remove Herds that move off the map.
